Books Read May 2016

May was another down reading month for me. I only finished two books for the month. Here is what I read.

1) The Cutting Season by Attica Locke - the story of a murder that takes place at a Louisiana plantation. This one was a slog for me. The mystery was pretty boring and the characters were pretty annoying.

2) Where'd You Go, Bernadette by Maria Semple - I loved this book. I found myself laughing out loud a couple of times. Now the story line is pretty unrealistic and you have to seriously suspend disbelief  but it was a fun read.
