Here we are at the end of October already. This is what is happening around here this week.
1) So we have added two new guinea pigs to our family. They are
named Hamlin and Rochester. We were only going to get one but everything I read
said that they are very social and are better in pairs. I know myself well
enough that I would feel totally guilty if we only had one that it was lonely
so two it is.
2) Little man is obsessed with them. They are still a bit
skittish so I am trying to get him to leave them alone but it is not working
very well.
3) Our weather has completely turned and we are full into fall.
I turned the heat on in the house and I was freezing at little man’s last
soccer game on Saturday.
4) We fall back on Saturday night and I am not looking forward
to it. I hate the darkness that is to come.

Hamilton and Rochester are very cute! You are right to get a pair, Guinea Pigs are very social, and really do best with a buddy. (Fun fact: in Switzerland, it is illegal to keep a solitary guinea pig.)
