Monday Musings

Another week has begun. Here are the things that are currently on my mind.

1) We had a wonderful trip to Traverse City this past weekend. All four of us don't get to spend a lot of time together so it was nice to have a few days as a family. Even the sullen teenager said he had a good time so that is a win!

2) Preston took part in a kindergarten jump start program last week. He said that he liked the school. They are recommending that he go into transitional kindergarten so that is what we are going to do. He will still be going to the elementary school for a full day and will have the same schedule it is just a different curriculum. 

3) My current class ends on 8/23 but for some reason instead of starting on 8/24 my next class doesn't start until 8/31. I am not looking forward to the gap. When we had 2 weeks off at Christmas it took me a bit to get back in the groove of things.
