It is time once again to join up with the Hodgepodge.
1) What gives you energy? What takes it away?
Doing something that I really love gives me energy. Like most introverts to much social time drains me.
2) How often do you shop for clothes? What accessory do you always wear?
I hate shopping so I do not buy clothes often. And when I do I usually buy them online. The only accessories I always are are my engagement and wedding /rin
3) What's something free that you feel grateful for?
A good hug from my hubby or the boys.
4) Breakfast, lunch, dinner ... which meal of the day do you enjoy most? What's your go-to comfort food?
I love breakfast. We will often have pancakes or waffles for dinner. My comfort foods are anything sweet which is not a good thing for a diabetic.
5) This week the world remembers the tragic events of 9/11. Do you mark the day in anyway? How do historical events shape your perspective on your personal challenges?
I try to pause and remember the events at some point during the day. The crazy thing is that my sister, niece and I were on top of the World Trade Center 15 days before 9/11. Being there that close to the event really hit home to me. When a tragedy happens I usually feel gratitude that my problems a fairly small.
6) Insert your own random thought here.
Now that the birthday bonanza is over it is time to start thinking about Christmas. I would really like to avoid the usually rush and stress this year and start my shopping early.
