As this week begins here are the things currently on my mind.
1) I really do not want to go back to work tomorrow. I wish every weekend was 3 days long.
2) I can feel the change of seasons in the air and I am not looking forward to it.
3) Birthday week is underway in our house and so far so good,

Here we are at the last day of August. These are the things currently on my mind.
1) It is the 2nd week of school and both boys were home today. Clark is still recovering from his wisdom teeth removal and Preston threw up this morning.
2) We have to pay for a parking pass for Clark and it is $105. Seems pretty ridiculous to me.
3) I am glad that we have a holiday weekend coming up. I can use a day off with nothing to do.

As another week begins these are the things currently on my mind.
1) I am beginning to seriously stress about not having my car back in time for school to start next week.
2) Clark needs to have 2 TB tests taken a week apart for his medical careers course. Thankfully we can go to CVS to have it done but again the lack of a car is a it of an issue.
3) I really need to get Preston back into a decent bedtime routine this week. He has been staying up way too late.
Another week begins and these are the things currently on my mind.
1) The boys start school in 2 weeks and I think I am ready for them to go back now.
2) I hope to have my car back before school starts.
3) I need to figure out when to do the boys birthday party with the family.
As this first week of August begins these are the things currently on my mind
1) I can't believe it is August. I feel like I am going to blink and we will celebrating Christmas and ringing in 2027.
2) I am getting a bit nervous about my car. I hope I have it back before school starts in 3 weeks.
3) I am feeling a bit bummed that we are not able to take a vacation again this year. I also feel bad that since I don't have a car we haven't even been able to do anything nearby either.

As this last week of July begins these are the things currently on my mind.
1) The boys start school 4 weeks from today and we have done pretty much nothing for it.
2) The mechanic told hubby that there is 2 possibilities as to what is wrong with my car. One would be a few hundred bucks and the other would be around $1500. I am sure it is going to be the later one.
3) I have been dealing with some neuropathy in my feet. I think I may need to breakdown and buy some old lady compression socks already.
As another weeks begins these are the things currently on my mind.
1) I am a bit bummed that the World Cup is over and we still have several weeks before football season begins.
2) I can feel a bit of the blues creeping their way in again. I am trying my best to fight it off.
3) I really cannot believe how fast the summer is going by. There is only a little over a month before the boys go back to school.

1) The crazy hot temps will be back this week. I always feel so bad for my hubby having to work in that super hot factory.
2) I am wondering if Preston's flag football game will be cancelled on Wednesday because of the heat.
3) I am wondering why it always seems that I end up taking 2 steps back whenever I feel like I am getting ahead.

As this first full week of July begins these are the things currently on my mind.
1) We had a very nice 4th of July weekend and I really did not want to log back into work today.
2) Now it is my car's turn to be a problem. Hubby thinks he figured out what the issue is and it will hopefully be a fairly easy and cheap fix.
3) Preston decided to play flag football again this summer. He was supposed to start last week but it was cancelled due to the heat advisory we were under. He was bummed but I was not sad about not sitting in the 100+ degree heat for 90 minutes.
As this holiday week begins these are the things currently on my mind.
1) Well I am in my 50s now and I am not quite sure how I feel about it.
2) I feel so bad for my hubby having to work in the hot ass factory during this ridiculous heat wave.
3) I am not looing forward to sitting out in the heat during Preston's flag football game on Wednesday night.

As another week comes to an end these are the things currently on my mind.
1) This is a busy week - doctor appointment tomorrow for me, a consultation with an oral surgeon on Wednesday for Clark, my birthday on Friday and BBQ/birthday celebration for my niece and I on Sunday.
2) I really need to get cracking on Preston's summer learning. I do not want him to have to much of a slide this year.
3) My car was acting up a bit but thankfully my hubby figured it out and it only cost about $30 to fix.

Another week begins and these are the things currently on my mind.
1) I am still feeling a bit of the birthday blues. I am trying to not focus on what I don't have and remember the wonderful things I do have but it isn't always easy.
2) I really need to get a summer schedule going for Preston. He really needs to work on his handwriting - it is pretty bad.
3) I really am a bit bummed that we won't be able to take a vacation again this year. My hope is to take a tri[ next year for spring break since Clark will be a senior (!)

1) I am so ready for the last day of school on Wednesday.
2) I am trying to come up with some fairly inexpensive outings for Preston and I this summer.
3) Another thing we need to work on is his handwriting. Other than his name I really cannot read anything he writes.

As the first week of June begins here are the things currently on my mind.
1) This is the last full week of school and I think we are all ready for the year to be over.
2) Clark finished his Segment 2 class last week and we received his certificate. Next step is to schedule his road test.
3) I have been feeling a bit down in the dumps lately. A bit of the birthday blues to be sure. But Preston told me not to be sad because I am the best mama so I guess I need to snap out of it.

As this week begins these are the things currently on my mind.
1) I wish that every weekend could be 3 days long.
2) Only 11-1/2 more days of school for the boys and we are all ready for it.
3) My birthday is a month away and I am not ready for it this year. I usually don't get worked up over age but 50 just feels really old!
As another week begins these are the things that are currently on my mind.
1) I am really looing forward to a long weekend. I need the extra rest.
2) I am so glad that our weather is finally warm enough that I am not worried about freezing during drop off and pick up.
3) I am almost finished with the baby blanket I am knitting for my friends. Then I will need to start on the one for my new great-niece. This is the quickest I have finished a project in a very long time.

1) Clark has his 2 AP exams this week and I am a bit nervous for him. I hope that he does well.
2) I have been knitting about an hour every night before bed so I am making good progress on the baby blanket for my friends.
3) Once this blanket is done I will need to cast on one for my new great-niece who was born on the 1st.

The last Monday of April is upon us and these are the things currently on my mind.
1) Preston started flag football on Saturday and I think it is going to be a long season. His team reminds me of The Bad News Bears.
2) I met with Clark's counselor and he is taking quite a hard schedule next year. I guess he is not interested in the senior slide.
3) There are 6-1/2 weeks left of school and I think the boys and I are both ready for the year to be over.

As this week comes to an end these are the things currently on my mind.
1) Mother nature is off her meds again. After a string of warm days it was in the 20s again this morning. Preston was not happy that he had to wear his heavy coat again.
2) For some reason the boys are off school tomorrow for a professional development day. Not sure why they picked a random Tuesday but it is what it is.
3) Preston was writing a story about an alien and said that he wanted to watch a movie about an alien. I told him that we should watch ET since I loved it when I was a kid. He then proceeds to ask me if it is in color since it is so old! I'm like dude how old do you think I am? He's lucky he's so cute.

Another week begins and these are the things I am currently pondering.
1) After a loooooooong 6 months I think that we have finally resolved hubby's car issue (knock on wood). He bought a "new" car today and the dealer even gave us a really great trade in on the POS even though it is not running.
2) Of course we now have 2 car payments which is not ideal but it is what it is.
3) The weather is warm, we have more daylight and I feel my motivation coming back slowly but surely.
