To frog or not to frog? That is the question.

My answer was to frog. Like so many other knitters I was just knitting away on my first Holland sock just ignoring that little voice in my head. You know that voice, the one that tells you things just do not look right. Of course we always know better than that voice right? WRONG! My voice was telling me that this sock was looking really small However, I ignored it until Saturday night when I tried to check the length of the leg before turning the heel. While I could get the sock on over the heel it was tough and I decided to just start over on size 1 needles. So this:

Now looks like this:

At least the wooden size 1's do not kill my hands like the metal size 0's did. Plus the grip of the bamboo helps me with the kung-fu death grip. Until next time ....

Frogging is horrible, but I know exactly what you mean. I had to frog the cabled scarf I'm doing and while I hated doing it, it's MUCH better now!

love the color of the socks! One day maybe I'll know how to make socks, too! (or better, know how to use those darned dpns!) LOL
