Sometimes You Just Have to Make Do

So you may remember the running out of yarn fiasco from last fall. I did contact some people on Ravelry about buying another skein but never heard back. Plus, I was not happy to buy a new skein to knit just a few inches (I'm cheap remember). So I decided to make do. I used some of the yarn left over from my Holland Socks to finish the pair off. I figure that no one except me or my family will see the toe anyway.

I have decided to name these the Frankenstein socks. Details located here and here. I am so happy to finally have these done! Until next time ....

Good for you! Done is better than perfect any day. Keep plugging away and you'll get things done. You're busy raising a child right now, and will have plenty of time for crafting after he's grown. Enjoy the little bit of knitting time you can get in and don't worry about how long it takes.
