I have been plugging along on a couple of projects. I did not get as much knitting done on vacation as I wanted but I did make some progress.
First up my simple socks. These are 1" of 1x1 rib for the cuff and then a 3x1 rib for the leg. I am almost ready to turn the heel on the second sock. This is a good blue Project Spectrum project. These have been on the needles since February so I am ready to be done with them.
Second is what I am calling the Bulldog Blanket. The pattern is the Hip To Be Square Blanket. I do not have a progress picture yet but here is the yarn I am using - Knit Picks Comfy Worsted in Serrano and Maize. This is a gift for my oldest niece who will be heading to Ferris State University in the fall. The school's mascot is a Bulldog hence the name and thecolors are Scarlet and Gold. I am really liking this yarn and am trying to finish up before she leaves for school at the end of August.
Next up a Project Spectrum project update. Until next time ....
