Books Read - July 2012

So 3 books seems to be the magic number around here. Of course I finished my 3rd book just before midnight on the 31st but I digress.

1) 204 Rosewood Lane by Debbie Macomber - the 2nd book of the Cedar Cove series. In this book we return to Olivia and Grace's stories as well as meet some new members of the community. A very nice and light read.

2) Needles and Pearls by Gil McNeil - this is also the 2nd book in a series. In this version we return to the coastal English town where Jo MacKenie moved to a year earlier to take over her grandmother's yarn shop. Of course she encounters many ups and downs while trying to raise her 2 sons and run a small business.

3) Blue Dahlia by Nora Roberts - this is book 1 of the In the Garden Trilogy. After she loses her husband Stella moves to Memphis to be closer to her father and step-mother. She accepts a job working for Roz Harper's garden store and moves into the old Harper family homestead. There she is confronted with the mystery of who the woman haunting the house is along with a burgeoning romance with the store's landscape designer.

Maybe I will get to 4 books next month. Until next time ....
