Books Read: October 2013

I have fallen further behind this month since I have only read 3 books. I do not know if I am going to be able to make the 52 book challenge but I will keep trying. In October I finished:

1) Starting Now: A Blossom Street Novel by Debbie Macomber - in this installment we meet Libby Morgan, an attorney who finds herself suddenly out of work and the story of how she manages to start a new life.

2) Dracula's Guest and Other Victorian Vampire Stories by Michael Sims - an interesting look at the evolution of vampire lore during the Victorian era.

3) The Passion of the Purple Plumeria: A Pink Carnation Novel by Lauren Willig - in this story we learn more about the Pink Carnation's chaperone Miss Gwen. She must work with Colonel William Reid to find the Carnation's sister and the Colonel's daughter who have disappeared from their private school.
