Thoughts on Tuesday

Another week is upon us and it is now officially spring. Here is what I am thinking about.

1) I am beginning to feel a bit like a pin cushion, Between blood draws at doctor appointments, testing my blood sugar 4 times a day and taking 4 insulin shots it is a bit much.

2) My poor little buddy has severe sleep apnea. They are referring us to an ENT to see about having his tonsills and adenoids removed. The thought of him going under anesthesia gives me major anxiety.

3) My brain is swimming with ideas of things I want to do - knitting, learning other crafts, writing ideas - but I am so exhausted that I do not have the energy to do them. I am keeping notes so hopefully when the 2nd trimester energy burst kicks in I can do some of these things.

Here are the pictures for the week.

All hooked up for his sleep study
My bed for the evening. Not very comfortable.
Little man in the room
Pregnancy craving satisfied
Little man and I made the traditional Irish dessert of Luck Charms treats for St Patrick's Day.
This colorway is called Psychedelic. I am trying to bring spring by knitting with bright colors.
These two are way too cute!

I know this is an older post, but didn't want to not comment in relation to the sleep apnea thing.

My husband has apnea and my son is likely to develop it due to the shape of his mouth, etc. The orthodontist put in a palate expander in order to widen the nasal cavity. The orthodontist specializes in sleep disorders and their relationship to the mouth. Given that Clark has apnea, it might help to find a similar specialist near you. Here's a little blurb from our orthodontist's website, so you'd have an idea what to ask about: https://www.drwalkerortho.com/braces-invisalign-orthodontics/airway-orthodontics-orthodontist-near-worcester-ma/

Good luck! I often think of you and say a prayer for your pregnancy!
