I am such a dumb ass

What do you get when you take one pasty white girl and put her outside at a Tiger game on a sunny 80 degree day? You get one holy sunburn batman!

Yeah so I am a little sore right now. I know I should wear sunscreen and I say that to myself every time I go out for long periods of time but I have yet to learn my lesson. That is why I receive the dumbass award for today. Plus the Tigers LOST! I would feel a little better if they would have at least won. Oh well I did get to see this.

This is my boyfriend Pudge batting. Yesterday was the game where he became #4 on the all time games caught list. It was his 1400+ game (I can not remember the exact number).

In knitting news there has not been much knitting around here. I have been working on the April Mid Month KAL but have had a hard time with it. At least I am not alone because the email group was going crazy with messages about frogging this thing. I seem to finally have my groove going on and just completed the rows for day #1. I also joined the Monthly Bookmark KAL because I clearly do not have enough to keep me busy already. Oh well, variety is the spice of life they say. Until next time ....

OUCH!
Don't make me give you the sunscreen lecture!! I used to live in the Caribbean and sure as anything I would see some poor scorched sap of a tourista doing the mummy walk through town because they wanted to go home with a tan.
Get some Bull Frog or Aloe Gator, doesn't wash, or sweat off and it works great! In the mean time do some damage control with LOTS of aloe, it does work.

Ouch! I feel for you. I was out on the motorcycle this past weekend, and made a point to use sunscreen. And thank goodness that I did because I would have ended up just like you.

Holy cow woman! I sat outside for 30 minutes and got a slight burn, I can't imagine being at a whole baseball game! Yikes! Hope it's feeling better now.
