It has been a week and I am behind. So without further ado ....
One Great Knitter
Write about a knitter whose work (whether because of project choice, photography, styling, scale of projects, stash, etc) you enjoy. If they have an enjoyable blog, you might find it a good opportunity to send a smile their way.
There are so many people who inspire me out there. Just see my blogroll to see the beautiful things these people knit. However I would say the Yarn Harlot for her speed and proficiency. Lolly for her beautiful pictures and creativity. And KnittingMa because she knits beautiful lace with 2 small boys at home.
A New Skill
Is there a skill related to your hobby that you hope to learn one day? maybe you’re a crocheter who’d also like to knit? Maybe you’d like to learn to knit continental, knit backwards, try cables or attempt stranded colourwork
I want to learn enterlac. Lady Eleanor has been in my queue forever. To go with this I would like to learn to knit backwards. I would also love to learn stranded colorwork so I can knit the Deep V Argyle Vest. I would also like to learn how to crochet. This one maybe a challenge for me since every time I have tried crochet I want to do it backwards (hold the yarn in my right hand). I am not sure if this is because I am a thrower, because I am left handed or a bit of both.
Location, Location, Location
Where do you like to indulge in your craft? Is your favourite arm chair your little knitting cubby area, or do you prefer to ‘knit in public’? Do you like to crochet in the great outdoors, perhaps, or knit in the bath, or at the pub
Most of my knitting it done in one of two places. First up would be my couch, after Clark is asleep, while watching TV. The second is the Caribou Coffee where our weekly knit night group meets. I do try to knit in the car but I usually sit in back with Clark and I get car sick if I knit to long.

learning to crochet is on my list too. that's interesting that you hold your yarn in your right though cos i hold it in my left.
Lady Eleanor is on my list, too. I even have the yarn - Silk Garden Lite. I hear that you NEED to learn to knit backwards to do this pattern --- makes it so much easier. I'm hoping my friend will teach me how to do Entrelac. I think it looks so cool!
Entrelac is great fun. Knitting backwards is fabulous - once you get the hang of it.
