Miss Amy's Baby Blanket

I have finished the baby blanket for our daycare lady, Miss Amy. I am happy with the way it turned out.

The pattern was really nice. It is easy to memorize but interesting enough to not be boring. I am actually amazed how fast I knit this up. It took me less than a month from start to finish. My edges were curling so I decided to add an I-cord border. Details as always are located here and here.

I have started a baby hat for Miss Amy out of the leftover yarn. I also want to make her some baby booties to match. If I have enough time and yarn there maybe a sweater in there, too. She is scheduled to be induced on 9/23 so I need to get moving. Until next time ....

The blanket will be much appreciated I'm sure. Your idea of a separate blog for FOs is such a great solution for easy access to that info. I might have to copy that idea. No shame me.

Might have to make one of those. I need a quick, not dish cloth project, and there are babies everywhere in my life!
