Books Read: December 2012

Three seems to be my magic number. In December I once again read 3 books for the month. This month I read:

1) Hell Hath No Curry by Tamar Myers - in this installment of the Pennsylvania Dutch series our heroine Magdalena Yoder is investigating the death of a local playboy. She is also trying to plan a wedding while her meddling future mother-in-law continues to try to break them up.

2) The Blood Ballad by Rett MacPherson - in this book of the series Torie O'Shea is shot at while out during the Birding Olympics. Soon they find a dead body in a trunk in the woods near where they were birding. Could the murder be tied to the songs her grandfather may have written but never received credit for?

3) As the World Churns by Tamar Myers - Magdelena has finally married the man of her dream but is still dealing with her meddling mother-in-law. She also has to investigate the beating of her close friend in her barn, her crazy brother-in-law who has escaped from prison and a inn full of guests there for the Holstein competition she is supposed to judge.

Until next time ....
