FOs: Remembeing Remy Hats

One of my 2013 goals is to knit more for charity. The Remembering Remy KAL with the Brooklyn Knitting Podcast is a great reason to meet this goal. The KAL honors Remy who was born premature and lived for 95 days in the NYU NICU. The hats are collected to donate to the NICU where this brave little girl fought so hard for life. I have completed 2 hats so far.

The first hat is the Baby's First Cables. This was a very nice pattern - easy to memorize but enough to keep my interest.
The second hat is the Quick and Easy Baby Hat. I have knit this pattern a few times in the past and really enjoy it. Again it is easy to memorize but interesting enough to not be boring.

Since the KAL runs for 95 days I hope to get many more hats knit up for this great cause. Until next time ....
