Books Read: May 2015

I managed to make quite the comeback this past month. After reading only 1 book in April I managed to complete 4 books in May.

1) The Boyfriend School by Sarah Bird - Gretchen is an underpaid photographer for a small Austin paper. She is sent to the local romance novel convention and meets Lizzie who has the perfect man for Gretchen - her brother. Unfortunately, Gretchen does not agree.

2) Poirot's Early Cases by Agatha Christie - a collection of short stories featuring our favorite Belgian police detective turned PI.

3) Casting Off by Nicole R. Dixon - Rebecca Moray travels to the small island off the coast of Ireland where her college best friend grew up to study the Aran sweaters knit by the fisherman there. While there she must confront the ghosts of her past and embrace her future.

4) The Year of Living Biblically: One Man's Humble Quest to Follow the Bible as Literally as Possible by A.J. Jacobs - after being raised in a non-religious household A.J. decides to follow the Bible's teachings to the letter. Things like thou shalt not kill are easy but others like not eating fruit from a tree less than 7 years old maybe a bit harder to follow.
