Books Read - January 2018

So far so good in 2018. I am 1 book ahead of schedule for my 52 in 52 goal for the year. In January I completed the following 4 books.

1) A Stash of One's Own by Clara Parkes - a collection of essays by different knitters on what stash means to them. Some are funny, some are sad but I really enjoyed the book.

2) Today Matters: 12 Daily Practices to Guarantee Tomorrow's Success by John C. Maxwell - an interesting book with some fun stories. Nothing really groundbreaking though.

3) Killer Reunion: A Savannah Reid Mystery by G.A. McKevett - in this installment our favorite PI goes home to Georgia for his high school reunion and finds herself the suspect when her old nemesis ends up murdered. This is my favorite cozy mystery series. This is not great fiction but it sure is fun.

4) Death of a Cozy Writer: A St. Just Mystery by G.M. Malliet - another cozy mystery series based upon the cases of a Detective Chief Inspector in England. There was a lot of build up in this book and it was not until about halfway through that the DCI shows up but it was a fairly enjoyable cozy.
