Title? I don't need no stinkin' title!

So this has been the longest 4 day week I can remember. It sucks hating your job - all I can think of is going home, watching tv and knitting. Oh well, it is the weekend now and I am so happy!

So Wednesday Kirsti brought presents to our weekly knit night. She brought free yarn - you have to love a friend like that! I picked out these beauties.

This is Knit Picks sock yarn Dancing. I guess this means that I need to learn how to make socks now. I had the Knit Socks book from the library but had to return it (damn people putting holds on my stuff). Maybe I should just suck it up and buy it. Oh well I need to get my butt moving already!

I also have a FO - another dishcloth for the KAL group.

You can't see the pattern very well but it is a oak leaf pattern. Very cute and easy - details here.

I finally got a subscription to Interweave Knits and my fall issue finally came today. I love pretty much everything in there. The Western Point Skirt is something that I will never make until my butt is at least 6 sizes smaller. My three definite "to knits" are the Gatsby Girl Pullover, Swallowtail Shawl and the Spartan Pullover for my hubby. He liked it despite the name - yes this Spartan married a Wolverine. On my "I love but I'm not sure about" list is the Saffron Cables. I love it but it is huge. I would love it for a handbag - maybe I will attempt to convert the pattern. That should be interesting. Until next time ....
