Another one bites the dust

Another weekend that is. Mine did not have such a wonderful start. While driving to work on Friday my car died. Luckily I was only at the end of our street so it was not that far to walk back to the apartment. We are still not sure what is wrong or how much the damage is going to be but I am not optimistic. It's times like these where having a credit card would come in handy. Oh well, nothing I can do about it but wait.

Yesterday my sister and I had Sisters Saturday. We had lunch at Olive Garden and went to the movies. We saw Freedom Writers, We Are Marshall and Dream Girls. They were all excellent. I hope to have reviews of them up over at Crazy Knitter Reviews soon. However, I highly recommend them. Be sure to bring your tissues to Freedom Writers and We Are Marshall - they are very emotional. Also, the scene in Dream Girls where Jennifer Hudson as Effie sings "And I Am Telling You I'm Not Going" will win her the Oscar. I was also happy to see that she no longer has bug eyes when she sings like she did on American Idol. That used to drive me crazy!

Today I actually got some things accomplished. I managed to organize my closet so when I open the door things will not fall on my head anymore. I also broke out my hubby's Christmas gift and wound my first skein into a ball.

It is not beautiful but it will do. Our furniture is not the easiest to clamp onto. What we have that is not glass is to thick or shaped wierd. However, I managed and I am happy.
