Finishing Up the Christmas Knits

I realized today that I never blogged about the rest of the gifts I knitted for Christmas. So to close the door on Christmas 2011 I will show off the 3 final gifts I made.

First up is the White Chili Pepper Towel (Ravelry and FO Blog). This pattern was quite tedious and I actually cut it about 20 rows short. It still made a nice size towel and with the additional rows may have been to big. This was for my brother and SIL.

Next up is a Grandmother's Favorite Dishcloth (Ravelry and FO Blog). This is the all-time classic dishcloth pattern. I had some of the white yarn left over and wanted to use up as much as possible so I added this to the gift for my brother and SIL.

The final gift was Marion's Slippers for my dad's fiance (Ravelry and FO Blog). These were a very last minute gift since they were finished on Christmas Eve. These were very comfy and I plan on making a pair for myself soon.

All in all it was a very successful Christmas this year. I managed to knit a few gifts without stressing out over them. Next up even more finished objects. 2012 is off to quite a productive start. Until next time ....

I love the chili pepper towel. I can see how it could become monotonous....but what a great gift :)

Grandma's favorite is one of my favorite dishcloths and I have never met a person who didn't like the pocketbook slippers.
Great gifts that I'm sure will be greatly appreciated :)

I haven't seen that chili pepper towel before. Might have to check it out. I understand the tediousness of it though. I still have a kitchen towel that is unfinished because it's not fun.
