2012 in Review

Another year has come and gone. My mom always said the older you get  the faster time goes by. I am starting to understand that statement. It seems like just yesterday we were ringing in 2012 and now 2013 upon us. This has not been the best year and the last two months have really stunk but I am hopeful that things are getting better each day.

Looking back on mt To Do and To Do Not lists for this year things have not been very successful. The only thing I managed to complete was to move (but that was not by choice), see my doctor and spend quality time together (although there is still room for improvement on this one as well).

As always there is a lot of chick lit and cozy mysteries in my list. However this year I have read quite a bit of non-fiction as well. I also joined Goodreads and started listening to the 2 Knit Lit Chicks podcast which made my to read list increase quite a bit.

On the knitting front I managed to completed 74 items in 2012 for a total of 7017 yards knit. These projects include:

10 toys/monsters
20 Christmas ornaments
1 cowl
1 neck warmer
2 vests
2 pieces of jewelery
1 afghan square
1 pair of toddler mittens
3 shawls
1 pair of fingerless mitts
3 pairs of socks
6 hats
1 chair cover
2 baby sweaters
1 pillow cover
19 dishcloths

Tomorrow will be the annual To Do and To Do Not lists for 2012. There is going to be a lot going on this year. Until next time ....
