This was a slightly better month reading wise. However, I am still behind on the 52 in 52 challenge. In October I finished:
1) Home Front by Kristin Hannah - Jolene Zarkades is a typical wife and mother except that she is about to be deployed to Iraq. Now she must deal with leaving her teenage daughter, a marriage that is falling apart and a tragedy that will change her life forever.
2) Fifteen Minutes by Karen Kingsbury - Zack Dylan leaves his small Kentucky hometown to audition for the hottest singing competition show Fifteen Minutes. Can he stay the same down home boy that his fiance Reese knows and loves?
3) Fly Away Home by Jennifer Weiner - Sylvie Serfer Woodruff is a typical politician's wife - especially now that her husband has had an affair with one of his staffers. Now she must make a new life for herself while her grown daughters try to do the same.
