Ten on Tuesday: The Calming Edition



The topic for this week is 10 Things You Do To Calm Down. Since my anxiety has been rearing its ugly head again lately this is a pretty timely topic for me. 

1) Slow down and take a few deep breaths

2) Knit

3) Read

4) Fold laundry – yes I realize this makes me a bit weird

5) Turn on the music and dance around

6) Talk to a trusted person in your life

7) Write down what is bothering you then rip it up and throw it away

8) Take a nap

9) Go for a long drive

10) Watch a stupid funny movie or TV show

Now I just need to remember these things when I start feeling anxious.
